One early summer day, Robert (our founder) was leaving his house for work, when he noticed something. He had put in some planter boxes the year before but, instead it being full of delicious vegetables, the boxes sat empty, alone, neglected.
He would get to planting something soon... Eventually... Probably... He had all the best intentions of planting a garden for his family, but life just seemed to keep getting in the way.
It wasn't that he didn't want to put in a garden, it's just that it takes time, forethought, knowledge, and planning about what you need to do and when you need to do it. Between working, raising a family, and everything else-- he just never got around to planting the garden he wanted. That's how the #EasiestGardenEver mission began...
Ever since, we've been hard at work, sorting through all the details, so you don't have to. For example, did you know that there are certain tomato varieties that can be ready twice as fast as others? We give you the fast growing ones early spring so you can start eating fresh right away, and then deliver the slower growing ones that produce for longer periods of time later in the season.
We're maximizing what your garden produces so you don't need to worry about it. Couple this with getting the right plants at the right time and easy to follow instructions-- we're doing all we can to set you up for success with an amazing homegrown experience!
We love growth. We love life. We hope you enjoy the fruit of our labor (while minimizing yours) as you start your EasiestGardenEver™️!
We don't believe in keeping this all to ourselves. With our ONEtoONE program, we give a year's worth of clean water to someone in need for every subscription. There are many places in the world where people have no access to clean water, and it is often the first step to helping people be raised out of poverty.
So as you're adding life to your garden through Leaf'd Box, know that there's someone on the other side of the world who has been given the first step towards life through what you're growing.
