Florida FAQ
Why don’t you send plants in May-August?
Growing in the heat of Summer in Florida is difficult. We do send plants May-August, and they are the Summer plant varieties. However, we do not recommend gardening in Florida after May due to the high heat and extreme temperatures. Our wonderful Gardening Experts at Leaf’d recommend waiting until September to start your Winter varieties.
I live in Florida and ordered a plant box during May-August, when will it ship?
Since we do not recommend planting a new garden in Florida May-August, we typically will hold your plants until the suggested planting date in September. You should receive an email in your inbox about this waiting period. However, if you want your garden immediately, email us at info@leafdbox.com and we will ship your Summer Varieties plant box the following Monday.
I ordered a hydroponic tower, when will my plants ship?
We send hydroponic tower plants approximately 1 week after your tower has been delivered to give you time to set up your tower and get ready to plant. We send hydroponic tower plants year-round, and the hydroponic tower plants do not need to follow the same shipping schedule as in-ground gardens and we usually ship immediately (especially if you are growing indoors.) If you have any questions, please email us at info@leafdbox.com.
