Plant you will receive
Freckle Lettuce

Seed to Harvest: 30-50 days
Tip:
›
We use heat-tolerant lettuce varieties that thrive in hydroponic towers, even in warmer weather, with a balanced
nutrient solution and ample light. Harvest leaves as they mature to encourage continuous growth, ensuring a steady
supply of fresh greens throughout the season.
Butter Lettuce

Seed to Harvest: 30-50 days
Tip:
›
We use heat-tolerant lettuce varieties that thrive in hydroponic towers, even in warmer weather, with a balanced
nutrient solution and ample light. Harvest leaves as they mature to encourage continuous growth, ensuring a steady
supply of fresh greens throughout the season.
Spinach

Seed to Harvest: 50–70 days
Tip:
›
Spinach loves to grow fast, so keep it well-watered and watch those vibrant leaves pop up! For the tastiest harvest,
pick the outer leaves first and leave the center to keep producing fresh, tender greens all season long.
Kale

Seed to Harvest: 55-75 days
Tip:
›
In hydroponics, kale thrives with plenty of nitrogen in the nutrient solution, which promotes lush leaf growth.
Regularly check for any signs of pests or disease and keep the plants well-trimmed for optimal air circulation.
Arugula

Seed to Harvest: 30-40 days
Tip:
›
Arugula thrives in well-drained, slightly alkaline soil, which helps produce tender, peppery leaves. For the best
flavor, harvest arugula leaves young, as older leaves can become tough and bitter.
Bok Choy

Seed to Harvest: 40-50 days
Tip:
›
Bok choy grows quickly in hydroponic systems, so be vigilant about nutrient levels and water quality for optimal
growth. Harvest the outer leaves when they are young and tender for the best flavor, allowing the center to keep
growing.
Basil

Seed to Harvest: 60-90 days
Tip:
›
Basil flourishes with ample light and moisture in a hydroponic setup. Pinching back the tips will encourage
bushier growth and more leaves for harvesting.
Cilantro

Seed to Harvest: 40-50 days
Tip:
›
Cilantro grows quickly, regularly trim the leaves to promote bushier growth and prevent the plant from bolting.
Bunchin Onion

Seed to Harvest: 60-80 days
Tip:
›
Cut the green tops as needed, and they will continue to regrow for ongoing harvests.
Zinnia

Seed to Harvest: 30-50 days
Tip:
›
Zinnias are very heat-tolerant and thrive in full sun, making them perfect for Florida’s climate. They need good air
circulation to prevent disease, so avoid overcrowding and ensure they have enough space to grow.
Dwarf Cherry Tomato

Seed to Harvest: 60–70 days (harvest or full bloom)
Tip:
›
This tomato is perfect for hydroponic systems, as it grows to be only 18-24 inches in height. It is also heat
tolerant, and needes 12-16 hours of light per day. Regularly monitor nutrient levels in the water to support fruit
development. To ensure a great harvest, you may need to hand-pollinate the flowers since these plants rely on wind or
insects for pollination in outdoor environments.
Small Cucumber

Seed to Harvest: 50–60 days
Tip:
›
In hydroponics, cucumbers thrive with support from a trellis, allowing them to grow vertically. These are
perfect for hot climates.
Snap Pea

Seed to Harvest: 50-70 days
Tip:
›
Sugar snap peas are a climbing plant, so give them a sturdy trellis to help them reach their full potential. For the
sweetest peas, harvest when the pods are plump but still tender, as they get tough if left too long.
