OUR TOP 3 TIPS FOR WINTER GARDENING

1.  MULCH

Adding a thick layer of mulch will help protect your plants from the harsh temperatures. It regulates the temperature of the soil, working as an installation. We recommend only using biodegradable mulch, such as leaves, chips, straw, and grass clippings.

2. SMALL HOOP TUNNEL

These tunnels can help protect your vegetables from the harsh weather, and keep snow off your crops. Small hoop tunnels are also beneficial because they protect your crops from bugs, pests, and even diseases.

3. GREENHOUSE

Using green houses during the Winter give you many more possibilities of what you can grow during the season. If you choose to heat your greenhouse, you can even grow vegetables that aren’t as hardy.
